Acute, Chronic & Common Injuries

Dealing With Sports Injuries

Sports injuries are injuries that occur during sport, athletic activities, or exercising. In the United States, there are approximately 30 million teenagers and children who participate in some form of organized sport. Sports injuries are common among athletes and other people who participate in sports. Certain injuries that are traditionally considered sports injuries can also occur in people who do not participate in sports. For example, homemakers and factory workers often develop tennis elbow, although they may never have played tennis.

Focus on your rehabilitation.

Treatment is likely to involve the use of osteopathic techniques within the treatment room combined with a more specific exercise based program in the studio gym. The aim is to return to full physical activity.
